CNEWA’s president emeritus, Msgr. Robert L. Stern, was recently invited to give one of two keynote addresses at the Westminster Conference of the Aid to the Church in Need in the United Kingdom.

The invitation, from Neville Kyrke-Smith, national director of the organization in the U.K., asked Msgr. Stern to present “an overview of the situation as you see it - speaking from experience, quoting people and encouraging people’s solidarity and compassion for Christians in the Middle East.” He also invited Msgr. Stern to celebrate and preach at the opening Mass at Westminster Cathedral in London.
