Accountant

Principal responsibilities of the Accountant include but are not exclusive to:

  • Assist with recording financial activities of select overseas offices
  • Imports and reviews cash receipts for accuracy on a daily basis
  • Maintains accounts payable transactions; generates checks from open payable accounts; coordinates the annual preparation and distribution of 1099 form.
  • Maintains monthly analysis and reconciliation of income accounts from Navision accounting software
  • Record and post all programmatic and wire transfer disbursements from our New York office
  • Maintains analysis and reconciliation of bank accounts on a monthly basis
  • Assists the Chief Financial Officer and accounting team in facilitating the annual audit process with the external auditors

Applicants need to possess a strong proficiency in Excel; knowledge of accounting principles; excellent communications skills; strong analytical skills and the ability to function independently and multi-task. Must demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines and function in a fast pace when required. Experience with Navision Navigator software program a strong plus.

A minimum of a Bachelors’ degree is required in accounting or related field.
