CNEWA Launches Appeal to Bring Warmth to Elderly Armenians

An agency of the Holy See, Catholic Near East Welfare Association works for, through and with the Eastern churches throughout the Middle East, Northeast Africa, India and Eastern Europe — especially Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine — rushing aid to religious caring for orphaned and abandoned children; comforting displaced and refugee families; providing maternity and health care for the poorest of the poor; offering formation and catechetical programs for children and young adults; supporting the education of seminarians, religious novices and lay leaders; and assisting initiatives for the marginalized, especially the elderly and disabled.
