Though most of Iraq’s Christians have fled for the security of Jordan, Kurdistan or Syria, CNEWA continues to support the works of those Christians who remain. With your gifts, we support Baghdad’s two Catholic hospitals, providing medicines, equipment and support for their care of the poor; care for orphaned children, including shelter, food and schooling; educate seminarians eager to serve the church as priests; and bolster catechetical programs for adults and youths, fortifying their faith that, for many, is all that remains.
