Renew Your CNEWA Membership in 2013

(photo: CNS)

What good did your support for CNEWA accomplish in 2012? The answer is — a lot! And here are just a few of the many good works in which you had a hand:

Syria: You helped rush Winter Survival Kits to 2,000 Christian families who were cast out of their homes and into the icy cold. Iraq: In a place where the church’s very existence in under threat, you helped train lay catechists to keep the light of Christ alive.

Jordan: You helped give an urgently needed endoscopy unit to the Italian Hospital — “the hospital for the poor.” Ethiopia: The Abba Gebre Michael Catholic School has new classrooms, thanks to a construction grant in part from you.

India: You protected 36 vulnerable young sisters by helping to build a strong brick wall around the convent where they live. Ukraine: You helped build two beautiful new churches — Holy Resurrection Cathedral and Christ the Lover of Mankind Church.

Plus, you shared your abundant blessings with 55,000 needy children ... 950 novice sisters ... and 3,000 future priests, helping them become all God wants them to be.

God bless you! You made possible so many works of mercy and acts of love that it is no exaggeration to say: God answers the prayers of the poor through you.

And as we begin the new year, I pray you will renew your commitment to CNEWA — and to the poor and the churches we serve — by making your 2013 Membership Gift today.

You know how powerful your CNEWA Membership is, and with all that is going on right now in the troubled places we serve, never before have so many people been so desperate for your help.

If you renew your CNEWA Membership today, you will relieve suffering and strengthen the church in Christ’s name. I will rush your gift wherever your help is needed most.

What you give will surely come back to you — “a good measure, packed together, shaken down and overflowing.” You can count on it!
