Save the Mother of Mercy Clinic

No baby should ever die because his mom can’t afford a safe birth. But in Zerqa, Jordan — where families live in slums and refugee camps, and the river is full of sewage — childbirth is a danger for moms and babies.

That’s why the Dominican Sisters of Saint Catherine of Siena fill an urgent need — safely delivering babies for free through the Mother of Mercy Clinic.

These good sisters save lives. But now the Mother of Mercy Clinic itself needs saving. The building is more than 30 years old. It desperately needs repairs.

Unless the clinic receives $80,000 of support, soon there may be no safe and free place in Zerqa where poor moms can give birth.

Jesus said, “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” Share your mercy with our Lord’s littlest ones — help save the Mother of Mercy Clinic!
