Help Lebanon’s Innocent Victims

Since last July, generous benefactors like you throughout North America and Europe have given CNEWA nearly US$1.2 to assist the agency’s emergency relief and development efforts in Lebanon.

Your generosity helped CNEWA’s Pontifical Mission staff in Beirut rush emergency supplies to more than 2,350 needy families – about 12,000 people – seeking shelter in three areas near Beirut considered safe, Jbeil, Kesserwan and Metn. Aid consisted of a week’s supply of canned food, oil, diapers, detergents, hygienic supplies and toilet paper.

But long-term assistance is still needed, particularly to Christian families from the south of Lebanon, whose homes and churches, fields and groves were destroyed.

CNEWA is there, helping community leaders – bishops and mayors, priests and elders – assess the damages and prioritize needs. But we need your help. Here’s what you can do:

  • Send CNEWA whatever you can for our Lebanese Relief Fund.
  • We'll rush it to our Beirut staff.
  • Working through the local church, they'll help those most in need.

May God bless you and reward you for whatever you can do.

Here is my donation to the Lebanese Relief Fund. Please rush it to families most in need!
