India is in crisis. The country is battling a growing humanitarian disaster, as the coronavirus pandemic spreads and claims more lives every day.
As of recent official reports, nearly half a million people in India have died from COVID-19. The need is urgent.
CNEWA is rushing aid to our partners on the ground, to help distribute vaccines, PPE equipment, food and health care. But it is impossible to keep up with the demand. Please give whatever you can to our brothers and sisters in India.
And we ask that you join us in prayer.
Pope Francis has called on Catholics around the world to join in praying the rosary during May, asking Our Lady to intercede to bring an end to the pandemic. And we ask you to please include in your intentions the late Bishop Jacob Mar Barnabas Aerath, who personally oversaw many pandemic relief efforts throughout northern India and passed due to COVID-19.
